Key Stage 3

Fishing Boat

English

We have been looking at various styles of poetry throughout the term. One of the styles we looked at was Haiku.

Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry that is a 17 syllable verse which consists of three lines, 5, 7 and 5 syllables long.

We used the pictures shown as our inspiration for our Haiku.

Sea reflects the yellow light

Clouds drift along.

Clouds glow red, so does the sea

Yellow sun dying.
